I have been doing so well during my first week of healthy living. I exercised. I ate lots of fruits and veggies and proteins. Drank loads of water. Got some good sleep. And then received some really awful news about a family in my neighborhood yesterday and proceeded to eat a sleeve of graham crackers last night. And I don't really even love graham crackers. So, there's that.

2 Gimme some Sugar:
I'm the opposite when it comes to seeking comfort. Food is not my friend, and I lose my appetite completely. Both of us are making unhealthy choices. I know this sounds silly, but this GW challenge is helping me get through THE toughest time of my life - my father is losing his battle with cancer. Most of the outfits I'm featuring are being worm for him. The days I'm not working are spent with him holding his hand, shedding a tear or two, or laughing at some really great memories. These outfits, which don't seem like much at times, take hours to put together. It keeps me going in a positive direction. Sending positive thoughts your way, Sister. : )
