Perfection!

Me, Jim, fire, beach and a good book. What more could I ask for on a birthday?

Sorry for being so MIA, I haven't had much to say and didn't want to clog your reader with needless junk. Thats what email is for, lol.

But let me remind you, summer is almost over! Did it get away from you before you had time to do something you significantly enjoyed? If so, you have a little time left. Go do something wonderful special and fun with someone you love. Even if its just for a few hours.
What's that? You want to comment? Just click on the itty-bitty words below that say "Gimme Some Sugar". Can you see them? Good. We can't wait to chat with you.

Happy B'day!!!! When was it?

I'm kind of meh on Twilight, but I agree about the combo. Have you read "The Shack"? I think you might like it. It's a bit on the hokey side at times, but there's such joy and love in it!

Summer, over? SOB, Gasp...noooo!

Jen- I liked it, I think the others will be much better. Like Charlaine Harris's first book wasn't very good-but the others were way better. Plus I have a thing for vamps lol.

Also, you are person number 3 to suggest The Shack. My boss just lent it to me and I am reading it...although I took a tiny break from it for Twilight.

I guess people are trying to tell me something about this book. I better finish it.

I just finished reading the second book in the Twilight series. I'm undecided about them, but I can't stop reading.

I know what you mean, I read it in just a few short days (which is quick for me) and I was telling a friend and I told her I wasn't sure enough happened for her to like it. But I think that might be just because its the first book.

I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

I took some much needed time out today (missed Bible study - oops - but spent it catching up with a friend) and went to the beach. It was great, the surf was great, we even remembered how to stand on our boards though we haven't been for over a month. But...I have 3 days of WINTER left here. Bring on the Summer, even though the weather today was mild, the water not too cold, and no-one else in the water, YAY!
