I’m not what you would call a true football fan. I like to sit on the couch and read a good book while I listen to my husband explain the game to our son as they watch it on tv. Logan likes to ask his daddy never-ending questions and Tom has the patience of a saint. So, it works out pretty well.
When Brett Favre retired, my six year old son was very disappointed and had to call his Aunt Dianna to commiserate. Apparently she does follow the game and was able to grasp the importance of that phone call. I just dialed her number and went about my business of baking brownies or painting my nails. Or watching Project Runway reruns on Bravo.
Anyway, when Logan learned that Brett signed to play with the Jets, he declared war on him and the entire team. He now despises them with a passion that I didn’t realize was possible in his sweet little soul.
The last couple of days at work, I have been surrounded by football talk. It began when we were discussing the sadness of our home team: the Detroit Lions. They are a sad lot.
It then progressed to a knock-down, drag-out debate about who is the better player: Brett Favre or Tom Brady. I voted for Brett because he is cute. And because Tom Brady cheated on his baby mama. Those are really all the reasons that I need.
But the annoying guy I work with (that would be Kennen) (who only has one good eye and probably isn’t the best judge) disagrees with me and my friend and basically believes most people will as well. So I am asking you to set the record straight.

Who do you like better? Brett Favre or Tom Brady. Thank you
What's that? You want to comment? Just click on the itty-bitty words below that say "Gimme Some Sugar". Can you see them? Good. We can't wait to chat with you.

I'm on your side Honey Bunch!
BTW...I've TOTALLY missed you. Glad you are back...at least for today. :0)
Brett Favre...even though he has too many consenants in his name.
Tom Brady is a hog..I do love that she named HIS child John Edwart Thomas (Initials spell JET) LOL!!...
uh...Brett who? lol. I personally can't stand Brett because my husband wants to kiss him on the mouth-so looks like I'm on Kennan's team. Sorry HB.
Brett is a three time MVP in the NFL. NO ONE has ever earned three MVP's in their career, ever. He also has a super bowl ring to boot. He is arguably the best quarterback to ever play the game. Tom Brady is a great quarterback but has always been surrounded by a great winning team. The packers have not always been that lucky. Brett Farve could be president of Wisconsin, if it ever susseded.
Stopping by to wish you a super Happy New Year!!
Is Kennen Gay for Tom Brady or something?
Kennen is correct when he says, "none of us knows the real story"! The issue is that perception over rides reality regardless of the truth.
Can I say neither?
